Simplicity SupraLite Premium

The Simplicity SupraLite Premium exists because most uprights are too heavy to carry. At roughly eight pounds it can be lifted with one hand, hung from a hook in a closet, and walked up a staircase without a second thought — yet it still uses a genuine HEPA media filtration system and a proper motorized cleaning path rather than the token suction of a stick vac.

It's hand-assembled in the same Missouri plant that builds Riccar, and it shares that family's philosophy: repairable parts, real bags, and a long power cord so you're not constantly hunting outlets. It runs quietly enough to use in a house with a sleeping baby or an early-shift sleeper, which customers mention to us more often than any spec.

Two-story homes are the norm in a lot of Twin Falls neighborhoods, and the single most common complaint we hear about heavy uprights is stairs. The SupraLite solves that outright. On deep plush carpet with heavy agricultural dust, a Tandem Air Riccar will pull more out of the pile; we'd rather tell you that up front than have you expect flagship carpet performance from a featherweight machine.

Bagged filtration keeps dust contained, and the HEPA media catches the fine particulate that matters for allergy households. Bags and filters are inexpensive and we keep them in stock at the shop. Plan on an annual tune-up to check the belt, brush roll, and filters — light machines are not disposable machines, and this one rewards basic upkeep with many years of service.

Repairs are handled locally. Because the SupraLite shares a parts ecosystem with the rest of the Missouri-built line, common components are on our shelf rather than back-ordered from a distributor.

Buy the SupraLite if weight, stairs, storage, or noise are your real constraints, and your floors are a normal mix of carpet and hard surface. It's also an excellent second vacuum for an upper floor in a home that already owns a heavier machine downstairs.

Look elsewhere if you have wall-to-wall deep pile and shedding pets — the R25 Pet or R40 Premium will clean deeper. And if you want one machine to adapt to everything from bare floor to plush carpet automatically, the SEBO Automatic X7/X8 is the more versatile choice.
