How much does a water softener cost?

A typical whole-home softener install in the Magic Valley runs $1,800–$3,500 depending on the size of your home, your water hardness, and whether we need to add a bypass loop. Reverse osmosis adds roughly $600–$1,200. Every quote is free and itemized — you'll know the number before we touch a wrench.

Salt vs. salt-free — which is right for me?

Real softeners use salt. They actually remove the calcium and magnesium that scale your fixtures and shorten appliance life. Salt-free 'conditioners' change how minerals behave but don't remove them. For most Twin Falls–area water (which is hard), salt-based softeners deliver the results customers expect. We'll explain the tradeoffs honestly during your water test.

Do I need an RO system if I have a softener?

They solve different problems. A softener protects your plumbing and appliances. An RO system gives you drinking water that tastes great and is free of dissolved solids, chlorine, and most contaminants. A lot of our customers run both.

Is my well water safe?

We can't tell you without testing. We offer free in-home water tests that cover hardness, iron, pH, and TDS. For bacterial or full chemistry panels, we partner with a certified lab and pass the cost through at-rate.

What brands do you carry?

Riccar, SEBO, Simplicity, and Maytag — all American-made or German-engineered. We're an authorized dealer for each, which means real warranty support and access to factory parts.

Can you service the vacuum I bought somewhere else?

Yes. We service almost every brand sold in the U.S., whether you bought it here, online, or at a big-box store. Bring it in — most repairs are done in-shop within a few days.

How often should I service my vacuum?

Once a year for most households, twice a year if you have pets or a large home. A $50 tune-up will outlast a $500 replacement nine times out of ten.

Do you service the brands you sell?

Always. Every system and vacuum we sell comes with factory-trained service for as long as you own it. We stock the parts for the brands we carry, which means most repairs happen the same week — not the same month.

We cover Twin Falls, Jerome, Cassia, Minidoka, Gooding, Lincoln, Blaine, Camas, Elmore, Power, Bannock counties out of our Twin Falls shop. Outside that area? Call us — we'll either come out or point you to someone reputable.

What's the warranty?

Every install carries the manufacturer's warranty plus our own workmanship guarantee. For Kinetico softeners that means up to 10 years on the main unit; for Riccar/SEBO vacuums it's typically 5–10 years depending on model.
