SEBO Felix

The SEBO Felix is built in Velbert, Germany, on an idea most manufacturers abandoned decades ago: that a vacuum should be a serviceable machine rather than a sealed appliance. The Felix comes apart. Swap the power head for a different floor type, detach the body to use it as a hand vac, or connect it to a hose and run it as a canister. Every wear component — brush roll, belt, filters, switches, cord — is a replaceable part with a part number.

Filtration is S-Class, the European hospital-grade standard, in a fully sealed path. Six separate warning indicators tell you what needs attention, which removes the guesswork that leads most owners to run a machine long past a clogged filter or a worn belt. SEBO backs the motor and casing for ten years, and professional cleaners worldwide have made the Felix their default for exactly these reasons.

Homes here rarely have one floor type. A typical Twin Falls house pairs tile or LVP in the kitchen and entry with carpet through bedrooms and a living room, and often adds hardwood or a finished basement. The SEBO Automatic X7/X8 is the better choice if you'd rather the machine adjust its own height than switch heads yourself, and it has a larger bag capacity. The Riccar R40 remains our recommendation for the deepest carpet cleaning in heavily carpeted homes. And if daily stair-carrying is the deciding factor, the SupraLite is dramatically lighter.
