WaterCare, based in Goshen, Indiana, is the connected-systems arm of the Water-Right family of brands. The company's focus over the last decade has been putting real monitoring into residential water treatment: WiFi-enabled valves that report salt level, water usage, and service intervals to a phone app.

The CareSoft Elite and Pro lines pair that telemetry with conventional, proven softener mechanics, so the smart features are additive rather than a new failure point.

The alerts prevent the single most common service call we get: a customer whose water went hard weeks ago because the salt ran out and nobody looked in the tank. WaterCare tells them — and tells us — before it becomes a problem.

Remote diagnostics also mean we can often identify what's wrong before the truck leaves the shop, which shortens the visit and lowers the bill.
