Water Treatment
Non-electric water softeners that just work.

Kinetico softeners run on the motion of the water itself — no electricity, no timers, no wasted regenerations. Twin-tank design means you always have soft water on demand.

Demos welcome — bring your dirtiest rug or a jug of your well water. We’ll show you exactly what Kinetico does differently.
(208) 733-2504Company background
Kinetico was founded in Newbury, Ohio in 1970 by two engineers who wanted a softener that didn't depend on electricity or a timer. Their answer — a system driven by the kinetic energy of the water moving through it — is still the company's defining product forty-plus years later.
The twin-tank design is the second half of the idea. One tank works while the other regenerates, so there is no period where the house is on hard bypass. Regeneration is triggered by measured volume, not a clock, which means a household that leaves for two weeks uses no salt while it's gone.
Dealer perspective
No circuit board is the shortest way to explain the appeal. Power blips, surges, and controller failures are the most common reason we get called out to other brands; Kinetico simply removes that failure mode.
For customers who want soft water available 24/7 — larger households, or anyone whose water use spikes in the evening — the twin-tank layout is genuinely different from what a single-tank system can do, not just a spec-sheet distinction.
We install, service, and stock parts for Kinetico across the Magic Valley, including systems installed by previous dealers. Annual checkups cover resin sanitation, brine tank inspection, and valve verification.
