SEBO

SEBO was founded in Velbert, Germany in 1978 and built its reputation in commercial cleaning before consumers discovered the machines. Everything is still designed and manufactured in Germany, and the company has resisted the industry-wide push toward lower-cost disposable construction.

The design philosophy is modularity: nearly every component — motor, switch, brush roll, cable reel, filtration housing — is a replaceable module rather than part of a sealed assembly. That is why twenty-year-old SEBO machines are common rather than remarkable, and why professional cleaners buy them.

SEBO's S-Class filtration captures 99.97% of particulates down to 0.3 microns through a sealed airflow path, and the machines self-diagnose: a set of warning indicators tells you the brush is worn, the bag is full, or the airflow is blocked before performance drops.

SEBO is what we recommend when someone says they never want to shop for a vacuum again. The purchase price is higher than most of our floor; the cost per year of ownership is the lowest we sell.
